In the heart of one of the most beautiful areas of Northern California, our Life Plan Community in the San Francisco Bay Area offers active living in a breathtaking resort-style setting. The Forum at Rancho San Antonio is proud to be the only community voted “Best Retirement Community” in Silicon Valley by Mercury News readers three years in a row – 2023, 2024, and 2025!
The Forum is excited to announce that we have been recognized as a Best Independent Living community for 2024-2025 by U.S. News & World Report. We earned the U.S. News Best Independent Living status by achieving a High Performing rating, the highest possible rating, for independent living.
Year after year, we’ve earned prestigious awards including a 5-star Medicare Rating for our skilled nursing care, Best Nursing Homes from U.S. News and World Report, Caring.com Super Star Award, Heartfelt Connections-Gold Award Winner, and Seniorly Best of Senior Living Award. We also offer recently expanded assisted living, stellar rehabilitation, and a brand-new memory care residence, Daffodil Ridge, which brings together caregivers, programming and technology in a thoughtfully designed setting designed to deliver exceptional care in every way.
Our beautifully appointed apartment homes and villas are designed for truly independent living. Depending on your needs for size, you can choose from a cozy one-bedroom, one bath apartment home with 720 square feet of living space all the way up to a spacious two-bedroom and den villa with 1,750 square feet.
The Forum offers new friendships, abundant amenities and a myriad of activities, plus access to an award-winning Health Care Center, all just minutes away from San Francisco and San Jose cultural, shopping and sporting events. Join us at an event and experience our one-of-a-kind lifestyle.

Gretchen Sand5 StarMy husband and I enjoy living at The Forum at Rancho San Antonio. Each of us has found new friendships and great projects to which we can contribute. Recently, we participated in Earth Day and supported development of a Wishing Tree project where all residents and staff were invited to share their hopes for the future of the Forum in context of a healthy community and planet. These hopes and wishes inform actions and actions create possibilities. The grounds are beautiful. The homes are beautiful. The people are wonderful and the food is terrific. We are happy to call The Forum home and for all the possibilities here !Thursday 26th June 2025
Dieu-Thuong TN5 StarWe have been at The Forum for 3 years and moving here was the best decision we made. The friendly community, the attentive staff and the healthy and creative cuisine are the stars of the show. In addition, the equity model, instead of the entrance fees, was what sealed the deal for us.
I’m writing this note, looking out of my windows, through a canopy of oaks and pine trees, to the sunny hills above. I feel lucky and grateful to call The Forum home.Friday 25th July 2025
Sally Broberg5 StarBeautiful facility on 50 acres and only 10 minutes from downtown. Competent staff and choice of 2 restaurants on-site. Residents can choose to live in one of the 5 apartment buildings or a stand-alone house called ‘villa’ with an attached garage. Friendly, like-minded residents, competent staff, and a plethora of activities both within and outside The Forum make it feel like resort living!!! I researched 6 retirement facilities in the Bay Area, and The Forum truly stood out. I have lived here for 2 years and feel fortunate to be part of The Forum family !Sunday 6th July 2025
