Sequoia provides excellent home care for my mom. The nurse and social worker are warm, caring and knowledgeable. They took time to explain my mom's care plan to make sure she is comfortable, and treat her with respect and compassion. I could not have asked for better.

Sequoia Health did a fantastic job while I was recovering from double pneumonia and a long stay in a hospital and at a rehab facility. Every nurse that visited took excellent care of me. The nurses also contacted my PCP when I had additional health problems not related to my pneumonia. All the PT/OT folks did an excellent job getting me back on my feet and getting me to do my exercises correctly. Sequoia Healthcare took care of me from June 10 to September 24. I would highly recommend Sequoia Healthcare.

Sequoia Hospice is an incredible company. They just helped my family navigate the last few days of my mother’s life with the utmost compassion and competency one could ever ask for. Oliver, the intake RN who came to our home, explained how hospice works, clearly stated all of the support and benefits that were available if we needed equipment/ meds, etc, and assessed Mom with such gentle care. When the visiting RN, Imelda, came the next day, she was equally lovely. She spoke with us at length about what to expect and answered questions and offered encouragement and compassion to us as we were scared and heartbroken to be losing Mom. After two and a half days my mom peacefully and painlessly passed. A third Sequoia nurse came out in the middle of the night to declare Mom deceased and help us to call the Neptune society. Sequoia Hospice cared for us caregivers as much as for my mom. We will always feel indebted for their help and cannot recommend this company enough.

My mom used the service from Sequoia. She has two weeks’ visits and was able to have an extension. The nurses were all nice and patient. They asked for the details of her feelings and needs. My mom doesn’t speak English. Translators were arranged every time. She didn’t have any trouble to communicate.

Both Physical Therapists (Elena and Josh) were exceptional! They listened, responded, made excellent recommendations and were very encouraging and supportive. The visit by the occupational therapist was, in my view, completely unnecessary and he was not at all helpful.
