Dr Rupa at Rebound Physical therapy is one of the most compassionate, caring, kind, attentive and skilled Physical therapists that I have ever seen. She takes the time to listen to my concerns and addresses them. Her care is personalized to you and your symptoms. She genuinely cares about your health and wellbeing and she has a wealth of knowledge. She is not your ordinary physical therapist. She is extraordinary. It is easy to schedule an appointment. The office is very clean and serene. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Rupa is wonderful. I can go in and she finds every area that needs worked on without having to say much! I never have to ask her to adjust the pressure either. She knows what I can tolerate. She gives me personalized exercises, and I notice I’m making improvements and going back to activities that pain had stopped. She has made such a positive impact on my life and is the best physical therapist I’ve seen (I’ve had many) She has a great sense of humor, is extremely knowledgeable and has so much experience. She’s the best!!!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Rupa for over five years, and she is by far the best physical therapist I’ve encountered in the Bay Area! She is highly experienced, professional, and incredibly supportive. Dr. Rupa has helped me manage my lower back pain and provided exceptional care during both of my pregnancies and postpartum recovery following C-sections. She is patient, attentive, and takes the time to listen to my concerns and clearly explain the treatment plan. I highly recommend her!

I came to Dr. Rupa with persistent shoulder and neck pain, and from the very first session, I knew I was in good hands. She took the time to thoroughly understand my symptoms and crafted a personalized treatment plan that addressed not just the pain, but the underlying causes. Her approach is both professional and compassionate—she explains everything clearly and makes sure you're comfortable with each step. The exercises she recommended were practical and easy to follow at home, and I started noticing real improvement within just a few sessions. What really stood out to me was her genuine care for her patients. She listens attentively and adjusts the treatment as needed based on your progress. The clinic is clean, well-organized, and runs on time, which I really appreciated. Thanks to Dr. Rupa, my shoulder and neck pain are significantly better, and I feel stronger and more mobile than I have in months. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, skilled, and caring physical therapist.

I know this is long, but if you’re looking for REAL HEALING—not just symptom management—please read this. It’s worth sharing all the details, because this PT, Dr. Rupa, doesn’t treat you like a checklist. She listens, sees the full picture, and helps you truly heal. Every concern I’ve brought up—she’s addressed. Every detail matters to her, and that’s rare to meet such a compassionate, dedicated, and wonderfully kind doctor. I’ve had multiple chronic illnesses since 2007, including GI issues, and seen all kinds of doctors, including UCSF and Stanford. I've also seen physical therapists, who mostly gave me the same basic exercises, barely touched me (if at all), and didn’t get to the root of my issues at all. By 2021, I was beyond exhausted physically, mentally, and emotionally. But my functional doctor said, “You have to try this one. She’s different.” I was incredibly doubtful, given it was 14 years of trying at that point, but I was interviewing for my dream job at the time, so I tried. And, wow, my functional doctor was right! From our very first session, I knew. I hadn’t been able to lie flat in years, but Dr. Rupa worked with me gently, carefully. She used hands-on techniques that felt like acupressure or traditional medicine—nothing like the PTs I’d had before. She discovered things no one else did or could do even with today's imaging technology: a dysfunctional diaphragm, thoracic outlet syndrome, a straight neck, and issues with my autonomic nervous system. Suddenly everything made sense—why I couldn’t breathe well, why I was so dizzy, fatigued, nauseated, and in pain. And Dr. Rupa didn’t just tell me what was wrong—she patiently, kindly, and thoroughly explained the root causes and how to improve. Breathing exercises, eye movements, posture help, manual GI therapy, and nervous system resets. Whether I show up with TMJ, nausea from a dental treatment, stress overload, or vertigo—she always has multiple ways to help. She’s seen so many conditions and cases in her career because she’s worked across cities, states, even countries. Her experience is wide, and it shows. She connects dots others miss. I was in between jobs and actually took out a loan to do her program—and I have no regrets. Soon after, I was able to breathe better, aced my interview, and got my dream job. But then, I didn’t think I could physically do it, given it was also in my dream city, a 2-hour commute, when I've been working locally and mostly remote. However, Dr. Rupa reassured me, gave me tools to support myself and a lot of emotional support. So, when something feels wrong, when I get overly stressed, anxious, or even panic, I now have her voice in my head reminding me that I can manage my symptoms myself and go on with my day. I succeeded in that job and moved on to pursuing more dreams that I gave up long ago. Even now, four years later, I still see her (less often now), because my case is complex. But I’m lighter, more stable, more able to handle flare-ups. She gave me back hope, energy, strength, power, and my life. And it’s not just me. One patient was told he needed leg surgery—but she found the real issue was in his hip and treated that. No surgery needed. That’s what she does: finds the root, not just the symptom—saves time, money, energy, and grief, too. She's amazing with me so I recommended my mom to also see Dr. Rupa now, too. My mom's hands were frozen from years of assembly work—doctors just offered injections or meds. After a year of PT, her hands opened up. Her back, neck, and leg pain have also improved—and most importantly, she understands her body better now, something no doctor had ever helped her with. I’ve followed Dr. Rupa across four clinics, and I’m so excited she now has her own. She deserves it. The world needs more providers like her—who treat the whole person, not just the part that hurts. If you’re struggling and feel like no one listens—please try her. She sees what others don’t, and she cares in a way most people never will. I truly don’t know where I’d be without her.
