Our team provides individualized physical therapy with consultation from a medical specialist, who is experienced in taking care of musculoskeletal pain of the neck, back, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, ankle, and knee. Dr. Henry Lew is our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation-PMR consultant. 1. From 2000 to 2008, after serving as as Chief Resident at the University of Washington, Dr. Lew was recruited to Stanford as Clinical Assistant Professor, and served as Medical Director of Palo Alto VA's Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center. 2. From 2008 to 2010, he served as Chief of PMR at the Boston VA, and Associate Professor at Harvard.3. In 2010, Dr. Lew was recruited as Professor at University of Hawaii School of Medicine, where he began promoting online education to support traditional classroom teaching. To date, he has published 150 scientific articles and 5 textbooks, which are used by clinicians in the US and internationally. He is licensed in California, Hawaii, and Taiwan. Dr. Lew is dedicated to medical education, and sees patients by appointment only.

Dr. Lew is very knowledgeable and will examine you very thoroughly. He is very patient and will address any questions or concerns that you have. He was able to diagnose that I had a muscle tear that never completely healed while I tried to do the splits during COVID. To be honest, I lost hope that anything can be done to heal it but I am AMAZED to say that I no longer feel any pain anymore. He offers many therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, physical therapy, trigger point injections, neck traction, prp injections, but what really worked for me was the shockwave therapy (EWST). They even add the shockwave therapy for free! They are very transparent about the fees if your insurance doesn’t cover. 100% recommended! My whole family has been seeing him. I guarantee he will take care of you! He genuinely cares about his patients. (Even my dad who hates seeing doctors is okay with Dr. Lew).
